In October 2022, Côte d'Azur Observatory obtained the European label « Human Resources Strategy for Researchers », better known by the acronym HRS4R. Our institution joins the Université Côte d'Azur, which has also committed to respecting the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct, as have nearly 600 other European organisations.
Our action plan includes 39 priority actions and aims to improve recruitment practices and working conditions for researchers, but also covers training and support for doctoral students, welcoming mobile researchers, open science practices, gender equality and issues of ethics and scientific integrity.
