Little anecdote concerning the final choice of the Calern site after the 6 other sites previously studied : "Notons pour la petite histoire que cette liste ne comprenait pas le CALERN et qu'en 1968, les résultats s'avéraient décevants, au point que le projet allait être abandonné. Mais J. LEVY proposa alors ce nouveau site pour faire une dernière tentative". [Let us note for the story that this list did not include the CALERN site and that in 1968, the results proved to be disappointing, to the point that the project was going to be abandoned. But J. LEVY then proposed this last site] (p.8)
